About PrintCleric

Hi, I'm Shane. I print and paint custom resin minis for my Etsy shop, ShanesResinSanctum.

I print a little of everything. Custom D&D party minis from HeroForge and other STLs. Painted likeness minis made from photos, like wedding couples. Gloomhaven minis sized to fit the hex. Multi-part kits, big statues printed in sections, terrain and bases. I paint with an airbrush and a brush.

My setup is an Anycubic Photon Mono 4 Ultra with Anycubic ABS-Like resin. I like to reinforce thin parts without losing sharp points, and that balance is where a lot of my prints have failed.

Why I built this

I've had a lot of failed prints. Supports snapping. Prints stuck to the FEP. Layers splitting halfway up. Every time, I'd spend ages searching forums and guessing which setting to change.

So I built PrintCleric. You upload a photo of a failed resin print, and it suggests the most likely causes and the settings to try next, with links to the guides it learned from.

It's a beta

PrintCleric is new, and it can be wrong. That's why every result asks "Did this fix it?" Your answers help it get better for everyone.

If you want to help test it, the free beta gives you 30 diagnoses.

Say hi

You can find my work on Etsy and on Instagram at @shanesresinsanctum. I'd love to see your prints, the good ones and the failed ones!

Thanks, Shane
